Frontend Engineer | Product Engineer, frontend/fullstack

In this role, you will:

• Be at the forefront of crafting visually beautiful user interfaces that redefine how knowledge is accessed.
• Collaborate closely with designers and backend engineers to bring seamless, engaging user experiences to life, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in web development.

Your background looks something like

• Proficiency with TypeScript and React.
• A solid understanding of the web tooling ecosystem, component state life cycle, and state management.
• A deep understanding of the web from the ground up, from HTTP to CSS.

Backend Engineer | Product Engineer, backend implementation and system design

In this role, you will:

• Architect the systems that power Sana's products. Your mission is to build and maintain scalable, resilient, and extensible systems that enable us to deliver features that transform knowledge sharing.
• Develop and maintain features and systems that drive our products.
• Be responsible for scalable and stable deployments.

Your background looks something like

• Experience building backend systems, modeling data, scaling, and tuning performance.
• Proficiency in Node.js (TypeScript) and/or JVM (Kotlin)—our two products have different backends.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and GCP.

AI Engineer | Productionizing AI systems for our products

In this role, you will:

• Be at the forefront of transforming data into groundbreaking insights. Your work will advance AI's role in knowledge consumption and creation, driving future innovation.
• Develop and maintain the data and AI infrastructure that powers Sana.
• Work broadly across the stack to ship AI-powered features.

Your background looks something like

• Proficiency in both backend engineering and application of state-of-the-art AI models.
• You approach problems with a rigorous experimentation and evaluation mindset, with a focus on user and business needs.
• Experience with recommendation systems, natural language understanding, or generation is a plus.

Infra Engineer | Provide infrastructure for product teams

In this role, you will:

• Be the backbone of our ambitious goals, ensuring our infrastructure is robust and scalable
• Support feature development teams with infrastructure decisions and deployments.
• Act as Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) and continuously enhance our Developer Experience (DX).

Your background looks something like

• Proficiency in both backend engineering and cloud-based deployments.
• Experience with highly available, scalable, and extensible backend systems.
• Proficiency in GCP, and Kubernetes.

Software Engineer | Generalist

Design Engineer | Front-end developer

In this role, you will:

• Design user experiences that captivate and engage, focusing on the interface's appearance, feel, and behavior
• Collaborate with the Product Design team to deliver and refine designs with a strong emphasis on quality craftsmanship

Your background looks something like

• Proficiency in technologies like TypeScript, React, styled-components, framer motion, and custom CSS implementations
• You're familiar with libraries like Radix UI for implementing UI components
• You have a comprehensive understanding of web fundamentals, from HTTP to CSS

Information Security Manager | Secure Architecture and Governance, Risk and Compliance

In this role, you will:

• Lead information security initiatives at Sana, ensuring robust security architecture and policies
• Collaborate strategically with the executive team to drive security initiatives
• Work cross-functionally across engineering, legal, and commercial teams to enhance security measures

Your background looks something like

• Experience with governance frameworks such as ISO27001, SOC2, and GDPR
• You hold CISSP or CISM certifications
• You have an engineering background to support technical designs
• You have experience with cloud deployments of enterprise SaaS
